The Aftermath

Christmas is over, th fairy lights are down, people are back to work and everyone is on a detox. January could well be the most depressing month of the year. In fact, I read that the 8th of january is the busiest day of the year for divorce lawyers. Christmas, as I mentioned in my previous post is just one BIG stress! I've started back at work, and despite gettin my student loan through I am straight back into the red once I've paid my accomodation. Above this, everybody I know is frantically trying to complete the university assignments they didn't get working on over the festive period. Sometimes I wish I could fast forward to february!

I hope you all had a fabulous break, personally I think a break is just the ticket after the Christmas kefuffle. Kit Kat have got it right, tonight I've seen their advert on television, and even more surprisingly than managing to squeeze a smile out of me, it has injected me with a glimmer of anticipation for next Christmas. Take a look at it here

The advert is advertising a 107 calorie kit kat, quite fitting considering hundreds of thousands of people will have started this year on a diet! I haven't made any proper new year's resolutions. If you ask me, the more you deny yourself something, the more you will want it! My philosophy is 'a little of what you fancy does you good' - and it hasn't done me any harm yet!
